What is the duration of the Geeknasium Workout Program and the frequency of the workouts?
Geeknasium is a 6 week program that starts on Monday, July 15th. Each workout is about 30mins long and will be released 3x a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monday = Cardio, Wed = Strength, and Friday = Core/Flexibility. You can complete these 30 min workouts in your own time.
Does Geeknasium Cost Money?
Yes, round one of Geeknasium costs $39.95 - with this you have access to the private Geeknasium Facebook group where you’'ll get your recipes, workouts, and motivation.

What is the 1 on 1 Coaching Upgrade?
This upgrade includes the entire Geeknasium workout program along with 1 on 1 coaching from the creator of the program, Heather Boddy. You’ll get a video chat fitness assessment as well as chat about habits around food and exercise. From here, Heather will give you your own superhero plan to fast track you to success. You’'ll get daily check ins, bi-weekly video chats, and any other personal attention needed to help you reach your goals.
Is GEEKNASIUM accessible to all fitness levels?
The goal is to make Geeknasium as accessible as possible to ALL fitness levels. The workouts are moderately intense, please consult your doctor before committing to any exercise regimen.
What type of equipment will I need?
Cardio and Core/Flexibility workouts generally use NO equipment besides a mat and a towel (for comfort/sweat) but the Strength days will vary - you may need light, medium, and heavy dumbbells, and/or a set of looped resistance bands. We will discuss this during prep week!
How do I access the workouts?
Geeknasium will post the workout to the private Facebook group that only Test Group members have access to. You will also get a PDF of the moves with a link to the Youtube video.
I won’t be able to do the workout on the day it is released. Is that a problem?
No, don’t worry if you can’t do the workout the exact day it is posted. Do it on your own time, when it feels comfortable for you. But make sure you get it done, as it’s part of your weekly mission.
What if I cannot execute the workouts in the videos? Are there appropriate modifications?
Geeknasium does it’s best to provide “options” and modifications for the workouts. If there is ever a move or exercise you cannot complete, and I have not provided a modification, please modify as you see necessary and then provide feedback on what the move was, why you needed the modification (i.e. bad knee), and what you did to modify the workout. Please also do the same if you feel you needed to advance the workout in any way (i.e. it was not hard enough for you and you felt you needed to add more).
Do I have to follow a specific meal plan?
No, with Geeknasium we are going to learn how to connect to our bodies in a way that no meal plan can provide. So we ask that you nourish yourself and fuel your body as you see appropriate. You will, however, be getting lots of fun and nerdy recipes to try!
Do I need to take Before/After photos, measurements, weigh in, etc?
No, there is no need to weigh yourself or take before/after photos or measurements. Your transformation is in how you FEEL after 6 weeks, how these workouts impacted your relationship with your body or your mindset about exercise. Throw away or hide your scale for the next 6 weeks.
Am I allowed to do other exercises/workout programs while I am participating in the Geeknasium?
Yes, you may supplement these workouts with other programs/exercises as you see fit.
